HOW TO MAKE AN EASY BRIGHTENING FACE MASK AT HOME(FOR ALL SKIN TYPES)

Brightening face masks, made at home, is probably the easiest and effective way to brighten up the face, get rid of spots and blemishes, and to achieve healthy glowing skin. . If you use face masks regularly, then it helps to prevent ageing and sagging of the skin to a great extent. Homemade brightening face masks are also pocket friendly and can be made out of the ingredients available at home. I have shared a  very simple brightening face mask that uses minimum ingredients that are readily available in our kitchen.

                         INGREDIENTS OF THE FACE  MASK 

• Wild Turmeric:(Kasturi Haldi or Kasturi  Manjal))- Wild turmeric is a versatile ingredient and is different from the regular turmeric used in the kitchen. Wild turmeric is a fabulous ingredient that is used to brighten up the skin and if you use it regularly, it can do wonders for your skin. It can heal wounds, scars and blemishes with consistent usage.
• Yoghurt: Yogurt is made by fermentation of milk and the process of this fermentation of milk by bacterial culture produces lactic acid. Lactic acid is a helpful ingredient to reduce hyperpigmentation. It also helps to get an even skin tone and can also reduce the size of the pores. 
• Honey:  Honey is a natural antibacterial agent and is a natural humectant also. Humectants are substances that help to lock in moisture without making the skin oily. Acne-prone, combination skin person can use honey in skincare in moderation. For dry skin people, honey is a miracle. 

                          PROCESS OF MAKING THE  FACE MASK 

Wild turmeric– 1 teaspoon

Yoghurt– 2 teaspoon

Honey– 1 teaspoon

Take a glass bowl and mix all the ingredients properly so that no lumps are there in the mixture.

                               PROCESS OF FACE MASK APPLICATION

• Wash the face and neck with a mild face wash to ensure that there are no dirt and greasiness.
• Tap your face with a towel dipped in lukewarm water. This step helps in opening the pores. This is an additional process and is optional. You should do this step as it makes a huge difference.
• Apply the mask evenly all over the face and neck.  Do not apply the mask around your eyes.
• Keep the mask for about 15 minutes. You should refrain from talking or laughing as much as possible after applying the mask.
• Wash the mask with lukewarm water. Ensure that no trace of the mask remains ion the face.
• After washing with lukewarm water, splash cold water on your face to close the pores.
• Apply toner and moisturize as usual.

                                                         RESULTS

As a result of regular usage of this mask, you will have glowing skin and the facial muscles will be tightened. You will notice that the appearance of pores will be reduced and blemishes and spots will also disappear.  You should apply this mask 3 times a week to get the best possible results.
